01

Make the guest list fit the building

Have the building’s safe capacity established. Control arrivals and leave stairs and exits clear. Keep people away from weak sections, tanks and edges.

02

Give people clear roles

Choose adults to supervise children, manage entry and know where the first-aid kit is. Share the address and emergency numbers with guests. Never depend on one distracted host to oversee everything.

03

Keep food and equipment organised

Set serving areas away from active flying and circulation routes. Keep flammables off the roof. Equipment must meet the current material rules and be obtained during permitted sales.

04

Respect the neighbourhood

Loud DJs, fireworks and aerial firing are prohibited under published guidance. Avoid harassment, nuisance and litter. Pause activity when wind, rain, storms or low visibility make conditions unsafe.

05

Know when to stop

A crowd that becomes difficult to manage, a damaged barrier or an electrical hazard is a reason to stop. Call Rescue 1122 for emergencies and police 15 for immediate danger or illegal activity.
