The reported proposal would allow kite and dor purchase, transport and storage from 1 February 2027, public sales from 10 February, and manufacturing through 14 March.
Later reporting of cabinet approval for the festival dates does not independently establish that these trading provisions were also approved. We have not authenticated a final notice permitting these activities.
Do not treat these proposed dates as permission to purchase, dispatch or transport kite materials. Check the current official notice and the seller’s authorisation; the existing courier restrictions must not be assumed to have been lifted.
